Slow-moving pits, ponds, streams, and rivers also attract the largemouth. The largest largemouth bass was apprehended in Montgomery Lake located in Georgia. The largemouth weighed in at 22 pounds and 4 ounces.

Redeye bass are found in Alabama, cool water, smaller streams, etc. You will rarely find redeye bass in ponds, organic lakes, or reservoirs. The largest redeye bass was caught in Flint River located in Georgia.
