How to catch big freshwater bass

The largemouth is one of the largest hunted species, since its resistance to hook line, and the fish can grow up to 38-inches. The World Record large is the 22-pounder. Florida largemouth often weighs anywhere from 10-pounds and up to 12-pounds; yet do not be surprised if you find larger fish.
Bass species include black crappie, Oswego bass, shellcracker, specks, bluegill, etc, yet the real bass are the largemouth, smallmouth, white bass, striped bass, and the spotted bass. Largemouth bass is a great sporting, trophy, game fish, fly-fish adventure. The smallmouth however also attracts anglers, since this fish will also put up a good fight when hooked.
